Baby #2 !!!

Due date: November 5th!

14 weeks pregnant and couldn't be more excited!

Once again Jensa beat me to it, but only this time she's 7 weeks ahead of me! But it's still fun to share pregnancy with your sister! *now you'll have to scroll thru my last blog pics and see if you can notice our (ever so early showing) baby bumps ;)

Utah Trip- BYU graduation

I made a last minute trip up to see my little brother Nathan graduate from BYU. Lane was kind enough to once again watch Danelle (from thurs. to monday) while I was gone!
Afterwards we went down to the Springville Museum of Art where my great-great grandfather John Hafen, has an entire room dedicated entirely to all his artwork. He's done some really beautiful paintings as well as murals.

Japan (part 2)

I had to include some random Japan pictures too.

At the park saw a couple of these things: (playpen/strollers?) and yes about 10% of the population wears masks.

Hey little sisters... you could totally live in Japan....

The museum we went to on a rainy day:

Lane was VERY excited to get to see an original Picasso painting:

Hmmm. These would be dental tools. For sale. Out on the street. Thank goodness for our "American teeth".

Tokyo, Japan

Lane and I were very fortunate to get the opportunity to travel to Japan for a week. We spent time in Tokyo, Yokohama, Yokosuka, and Kamakura. We did a lot, and therefore have a ton of pictures, so I will do my best to condense the pictures and summarize!

Typical Meal:
Tokyo: Like NYC but cleaner and nicer. LOTS of fancy stores. Everyone is very well dressed!
Eating Tempura in Tokyo:

Tokyo Tower (much like the Eifel Tower):

Sushi for Breakfast:

Sensoji Temple:
Shopping:

Entrance to one of the shrines:
Watched a preformance here (Kabuki-za theatre): like an opera, by Japenese.

Imperial Palace (where Royal family lives):
The Great Buddha: Kamakura, Japan

Tsukiji Fish Market: Worlds Largest.

Cherry Blossoms: we were lucky to be there during the start of spring!
Beautiful Gardens!

Another Buddha: (the two religions in Japan are Buddhism and Shinto)

Walking thru a bamboo forest:

I may do one more post with a couple other cool Japan pics but I know this is a lot for those other than family! Basically it was an awesome trip and the most culture i've ever experienced!!

"People Watching" love that song by Jack Johnson!!
