Boating- Pineview Resevior

Our new favorite place to go here in Utah is just East of Ogden. In the winter they have some awesome ski resorts, and in the summer there is a beautiful lake/resevoir called Pineview.

We rented a boat (oh how I dream of one day having our own...) and went out tubing and wakeboarding for the day. We had gone a couple of times when we lived in Texas, and so we knew Danelle would love it, but this was Gunnar's first time out on the boat!We even talked my dad into trying to wakeboard. He had water skiied in the past, but wasn't able to get up on the wakeboard- so close though!

Nathan was doing all kinds of tricks on the tube and wakeboard, and Danelle loved watching him!

Park City- June 2011

For a week in June my parents had a timeshare in Park City, Utah and it since Lane was out of town for work we got to go hang out with them for a few days! Danelle and never been up there, and they have lots of fun stuff to do in the summertime. We did some swiming in the pool:

Lane's Cache Valley Triathalon

Lane did his first ever triathalon up in Cache Valley and finished in 1 hour and 32 mins! I didn't take any pictures of him swimming, but he said it was pretty cold. They did their swim in Hyrum Dam. I did take some of him transisiting to the next leg, the bike.

Danelle had more fun hunting for rollie pollies with the other kids. It's hard to just sit and wait for that split second where you actually get to see them, but they did great.

Danelle (and Gunnison) were good supporters. Danelle rang the Utah State cowbell the whole time for her daddy!

Lane took 3rd place in his category! Danelle has been having playing pretend"award ceremonies" ever since we got home.

The Great Outdoors!

I was having my doubts about if summer would ever arrive, but alas it's finally here! We've been out and about exploring the fun things to do outside. The kids have especially been loving to go on hikes.
