It's signing time!
(she does get a little distracted but I FINALLY got her on video- as Aunt Jensa requested!)
We started out teaching her a few basic signs (food, milk, all done and more) so that eating time wouldn't have to be so messy. She loved doing signs so much that we kept teaching her more... Believe me we never intended her signing to be "Hey look at how smart my kid can be!" It was just simply because we didn't want to deal with whining or tantrums! (and what parent does!)
Here are some of the things she can tell us now:
food

all done
more
cracker
cheese
bananna
help
cat
dog
flower
bird
sleep
outside
shoes
ball
hi (bye)
eyes
nose
mouth
daddy
Any requests for the next sign we teach her?

I just love this!!! Jackson is learning too, but he doesn't know that many yet. I can't wait until he picks up more.
hmm... you should definately teach her how to say Megan =) ... jk. but what about airplane? Im sure she hears them all day long
Teach her stamp. That's my personal baby favorite. :-)
I am glad she likes it. Brooke was so into it and signing still comes in handy as quiet entertainment during sacrament meeting. My favorite baby sign was cold, kids get really into that one!
That is so awesome! Did you buy a book or a set of DVDs?
That's such a good idea, I should teach Brayden sign. A lot of people are doing it more and more. Sounds like she's doing great.
